About me
Hi, my name is Sidney Fick. I am 16 years old. I live outside of Beaver Creek on a farm. I'm also a sophomore at Hills-Beaver Creek High School. I have two sisters (Madison, 19) (Kenadie, 12) and one brother (Taylor Reese, 23) and two wonderful parents (Randy and Kathy). Family is one of the most important things to me.
One of my passions is sports. I play volleyball, basketball, and run track. One goal for me is to play college volleyball or basketball, preferably basketball! I have gotten a letter from one college about basketball this last summer. If I want to play college sports I need to push myself. During the school year I'm usually play sports 5 days out of the 7 days sometimes 6 days. During the summer it's only about 4-5 days of the 7 days. I'm glad I have the teams that I have to play sports and great coaches! Teammates are always there to make me push harder and I play for them and for myself too. I know that I'm where I am in my sports because of my coaches. My dad was my very first coach ever. He really helped my team and I start out right in basketball. Everyone says cherish your sophomore year because it only gets harder after that. So I'm kind of just living in the moment as of now because that's about all you can do. Working hard on your homework and making sure you take time to study for test is about all you got to do to do well. I had a pretty tough thing happen to my family this last summer. It definitely made my family a lot closer. Just remember not to take family and friends for granted because you never know someday they might have to leave. Because of this hard time I work hard for my family and push myself harder for them too. |
